Skybound expands its Creepshow offering with the launch of Creepshow in Love #1 this February. The one-shot version scheduled to be released on February 12th includes three stories.

“The Creep is replacing Cupid this year, and we can’t wait to show our readers why Valentine’s Day is the scariest holiday!” said Alex Antone, Skybound’s Editorial Director.

LOS ANGELES, November 14, 2024 — Creepshow is here to help you have some fun this Valentine’s Day! Today, Skybound and Image Comics announce the release of an all-new spooky Hearts Day issue, “Creepshow in Love #1.” Unveiling the creative talent behind it. This one-shot from the Eisner Award-nominated comics anthology is based on Greg Nicotero’s hit Shudder TV series, produced and licensed by Kartel Entertainment, and hits comic book shops on February 12, 2025 .

Brian Witten is directing on behalf of Nicotero’s Monster Agency Productions.

Romance + Creepshow? This 3-course special is for everyone with a lonely heart. First, murderer Mirka Andolfo (Sweet Paprika) spins a terrifying yarn about a Valentine’s Day murderer in “Madness of Two.” And a petrified Patrick Horvath ( Under the Tree No One Ever Seen ) concocts an aphrodisiac for the “cursed Casanova.” Finally, in “Penguin Avenger,” screaming Yulpyung Oh and paranormal Pyuri invite you to the zoo for the worst first date ever.

In addition to the main cover by Chris Burnham (Batman Incorporated) and Brian Reber (Black Cat), Creepshow in Love #1 has a variant cover lineup including an orderable cover by Mirka Andolfo and a 1:10 incentive cover by Mirka Andolfo is included. Patrick Horvath.

Tini Howard (Catwoman), Blake Howard (Punchline), and Stevan Subic (The Riddler: Year One) will make you cry for your mom in the new year. Then, popular comedian Terry Reno reprises the holiday classic by the Petrol Head team of Rob Williams and Pi Per in a shocking twist before a live studio audience.

Volume 1, which collects the first five issues of the 2023 Eisner Award-nominated Creepshow Vol. anthology, is available wherever books are sold (Month Code: 0623IM919, ISBN: 978-1-5343 -2480-0 | MSRP: $14.99). Elsewhere in the Creepshow franchise, Creepshow: The Suspense-Building Game recently became available on the Skybound e-commerce store. In this sinister story-building tabletop game, players take on the roles of creeps as they weave a twisted tale of despicable deviants meeting their deserved ends. This game requires strategy and cunning. You also need to know when to increase your luck, since deception can await you at every turn. Creep creates a chain of story cards and secretly fills it with suspense. At key moments in the story, when the tension is at its highest, Creeps can bet on the amount of suspense to score big. However, be aware that other creeps will interfere with the story. You can lose your head.

The Creepshow comic miniseries deal was brokered by Stryker Entertainment.

Creepshow in Love #1 (SRP $4.99) will be available in comic book shops and digital platforms including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
