Vault Comics is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated return of Smash hit comic wildbar. The brand’s new one-shot, The Black Knight, is written by wild co-creator Michael Moreci (Burning Fields). Barbaric then returns in December 2025 for his fifth full arc with artist and co-creator Nathan Gooden (Big Rig) to explain the series.
The Black Knight is an ultra-sized one-shot featuring flails, talking…frails. Deadheart, Serra and Ka return to defeat the evil witch Doxon in the Queen of Swords. The too-worthy face lies above the spike ball at the end of the vicious weapon equipped by the ancient knights, with other plans. If you’re a barbaric fan, it’s essential that you read Black Knight because someone doesn’t bring this book to life. Series co-creator and author Michael Moresi said this about One Shot.
I’m happy to be back! The bar is a little far away, but we are back in vengeance. Our latest one-shot, Black Knight, is essential for wild stories. We really started to see a big picture in focus and I’m very excited to bring this to the reader’s hands. Guilherme’s art is out of this world, with the incredible colours of Fabi Marques. They help you make wild returns in a powerful way. All of Axe, Owen and Soren’s followers are ready.
Barbaric was created jointly by author Michael Moreci and artist Nathan Gooden. Among the Vault’s bestseller and most well-received series, Barbaric sold hundreds of thousands of copies worldwide and was named one of the best comics of 2021. The story is Owen, a bloodthirsty wild b-man, and in his drunken x, they roam the realm of an unknown myth, fighting in some way, in their quest in some way, in some way, in their quest.
Black Knight hit store shelves this October and features incredible variant covers from fan favorite artists such as Nathan Gooden, Luana Vecchio (Doll Parts) and Colin Howell (Lilith). Pre-order now from your local comic shop so you can get a copy. The cover and preview page is displayed below.
