If you haven’t heard of it, there will be four fantastic movies in July. So Marvel should make sure to push first family on the publishing side. As a proper example, Marvel has unveiled the new Marvel All-on-One-Shot Special from current Fantastic Four Scrivener Ryan North and superstar artist Ed McGuinness. The one-shot, which arrived in August, “pits Ben Grimm against the entire Marvel Superheroes Pantheon.”

Here’s how Marvel described the One Shot:

This August, Marvel Comics continues the tradition of celebrating its anniversary with one-shots that encapsulate all the wonders and excitement of Marvel Comics’ storytelling. This year’s one-shot, Marvel All-on-One, pits Ben Grimm against the entire Marvel Superheroes Pantheon from current Fantastic Fours Criveners Ryan North and superstar artist Ed McGuinness! The battle is extremely bold with 50 pages of incredible non-stop action, very bold, and pages that are not splash pages are double page spreads! We promise to become Marvel, the wildest one-shot ever published.

Things and the Marvel Universe!

Ben Grimm, aka The Thing: He is a powerhouse of millions of imagination and the Fantastic Four. He is strong, kind and never gives up. And he’s tired too, he hurts, and he’s in a bad mood. There is always a new threat facing the world, the galaxy and the universe. Ben Grimm is sick and tired. He just wants a break! But when he returns to Earth after a solo mission in space, discovers that the Fantastic Four opposed him, he, along with the rest of New York City, and apparently with the whole world, he has a mystery to solve…

North shared about his experience in creating such unique questions.

“So Ed McGuinness is a modern legend and working with him would clearly be a thrill. But as he works with him on a very big, explosive, crackers full of issues, you have to talk about it on a splash page and double page spread, well, literally, I’ve been spoken on one page. Are there any moments of fighting and self-discovery too?

Added McGuiness:

“Everyone?! 50 splash page?! What’s wrong?

Check out the main McGuinness cover and the interior artwork below for the first time.

Marvel All-On-One #1 is available on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025.
