On September 20, 2025, fans from all over the world will gather at Batman Day, the annual celebration of DC’s legendary Dark Knight. Since his first appearance in Detective Comics #27 in 1939, Batman has influenced generations with his story that introduces his resolve, ingenuity and grit.
This year, DC and Warner Bros Discovery announced they will be out all with events, comics, collectibles and more. It says a lot every year, they blow us away in the way that celebrates Batman.
Warner Bros Studio Tour Hollywood
For just one day, fans can take part in an immersive Batman-themed studio tour. Expect free copies of Trivia, Photo Ops, Rare Props, and Classic Batmobiles from The Archives as well as Batman & Robin Year One #1 (Mark Waid and Chris Samnee). The evening concludes with a special screening of Batman Forever, featured by producer Michael Uslan.
Comics and Collectibles
The comic shop will offer special Batman Day editions, including new printings for Absolute Batman #1, faxings for Batman #1 in the 1940s, and reprints of Batman & Robin Year 1 #1 and Batman: The Second Year #1. DC Universe Infinite also offers free reading of the curated Batman collection, but DC Shop will drop new Batman items for a month.
Games and animations
Fans are looking forward to LEGO® Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, released in 2026. Golden Age Batsuit has been released. Meanwhile, Warner Bros. Animation previews the upcoming Batfem series and spins out of Mary Little Batman. HBO Max features Batman Day Hub, packed with movies and shows, plus a Bat Wheel and a Teen Titans Go marathon!
Mobile gamers are not excluded. Injustice2Mobile and DC Worlds Collide will be running free rewards and Batman-themed events through September.
Toys and products
Warner Bros. Discovery Consumer Products teams up with Spin Master, Mattel and Lego to build new Batman figures, playsets and LEGO builds, like the Batman Forever Batmobile and the Classic 1966 Batmobile.
Social Good
Batman Day has also brought the Story Lab program to 5,500 clubs nationwide, seeing the launch of a new partnership between Warner Bros Discovery and the Boys and Girls Clubs in America. This initiative uses Batman and other DC heroes to encourage young people to courage, creativity and storytelling skills.
