Beat learned that the first issue of Batman H2SH, a sequel to Jeph Loeb/Jim Lee Classic, has ordered more than 400,000 copies.
Normally you keep the source private, but in this case you can make it clear that it is a DC comic post from Bluesky.

Oops! A world without Sales Charts™ has got a bold new play! We will announce the sales number with actual graphics!
“Congratulations to Jeph Loeb, @jimlee.bsky.social, scott Williams, @sincocolor.bsky.social, @richstarkings.social, and to the amazing variant cover artists,” and “over 400,000 copies ordered chapter 158 of h2sh.”
This is a good number given the strong work of the team, everyone involved, and of course the status of the initial tranquility as an essential Batman story. This coincides with the 2024 top period comic Absolue Batman #1, which also sells over 400,000 copies. Where does H2SH rank among the regular 2025 comics so far? Well, maybe #1? We don’t know because there are no charts and only leaks and speculations. DC has announced that Absolute Batman #1 is the top comic of the year, but the 400,000 numbers came from unverified leaks.
This announcement is a bold shot across the bow from DC. If you post ongoing monthly sales rankings for images, you will see that publishers are itching to bring their success stories out there by hook, or by crook. Marvel and DC were supposed to be the most silent to take part in any sales tally, but perhaps more publishers may follow the image and start promoting their top 10.
Hush 2 – is now styled as H2SH – debuted as the 6th arc under the title of regular Batman and will debut on March 26th in Batman #158. The second issue 6 arc of 2026 ends the story. The original’s tranquility was about Batman’s new archnemesis, revealed only after tense storytelling and bat anguish. There has been little details about H2SH released…and who likes surprises?
The book looks rather spectacular, as shown on the preview page released a few days ago.
