Bad Idea will announce two new titles for next August!

Following the big numbers in the release of Death of the Planet, the bad idea has unveiled Cal de Sac, a new horror title with Mike Carrey and illustrator Jonathan Wayshack’s creative team. Writer Matt Kint and artist David Raffam are set to return to The Hero Trade Universe in a new two-part story of Hero Trade: Project Chimera #1.

Bad ideas are known for their uncooperative approach to publicity, and both of these new titles have a very fun variation of Cul de Sac and The Hero Trade: Project Chimera #1, both coming to the local comic shop on August 6th.

cul de sac covers the art of Jonathan Wayshak

Cul de Sac has a chrome cover at Wayshak, with special cursed mirror covers from Eisner Award winners Andrea Sorrentino, Ramon Villalobos, Jim Mahfood and Eisner nominated artist Fleeecs, special cursed mirror covers that look like selfies and bass ideas, telling us to take our eyes off the selfie contest.

This is a simple pitch for cul de sac from bad thoughts:

Located on a hidden corner of a sleepy suburb, the families of Kingsley, Herriman and Ortega looked like other close neighbors. When Mrs. Kingsley loads all her kids into the family’s RV for the annual summer campout, nothing is found. However, in the darkness of the forest, she unleashes a terrifying, bloody exhibit and uncovers the shocking secrets of her family. Their parents are vampires and they want to pass on their legacy.

Now, children need to choose them, join them, enjoy their amazing dark powers and live their lives as human beings. However, when they get home, they confront a horrifying scene. Their parents are dead on the floor and are brutally murdered by an elite team of vampire hunters. And Hunter? They are about to finish their work. The kids are running now. Chased by vampire hunters, police and even fellow vampire shadow-like cobalts, they are searching for answers to unlock the secret of what they truly are before fate is sealed forever.

Hero Trade: Project Chimera #1 has the main cover of David Rafam that connects to Hero Trade: Project Chimera #2. The bad idea is to try again a comic medium with a small comic variant cover of Rapham’s 1-inch 1:50 variant that I think is a bit difficult for me to read.

Here are the quick pitches for Hero Trade:

The lead agents of Project Chimera, Hank and Ingrid are responsible for a critical mission. Suppress Trey and Trina, twin teenagers who destroyed the world. Under the careful eyes of Hank and Ingrid, the teens remain trapped in harsh, intermittent black sites, conditioned to believe that they were unable to survive the deadly world and were only released when fatal forces were needed. Hank and Ingrid kept their missions and followed orders at all times. Until now.

Trey is beginning to unravel and begins to become a bloodthirsty Berserker when he loses his string and Hank and Ingrid are shaken. And Trina is beginning to question everything after being a model asset. With whispers of moles embedded deep inside the tissue threatening to defeat the entire operation, Hank and Ingrid are intertwined between the duty, deception and forbidden events that could take their own life.

Bad ideas continue to attract top writers along with inedible artists. Hero Trade’s Gitty Black and White Crime Story: Looking forward to color painting jumping from the Project Chimera #1 or Cul de Sac pages. It’s the cherry on top that bad ideas reveal something fun for fans like reverse covers and 1 inch variants.

Cul de Sac and The Hero Trade: Project Chimera #1 (2) are on sale on August 6th.
