On the heels of announcing their New York Comic Con panel plans, Bad Idea has made all kinds of announcements for next weekend’s convention. This includes autograph sessions, limited edition covers, and free merchandise at booth #3641. However, there is a big pitfall. The stalls are only open for one hour each day. Now, let me introduce you to the full schedule of the consultation and the product press release.

Bad Idea NYCC 2024 Schedule

BAD IDEA Merch Store Storms NYCC — 6 new “100 editions” and more!

Save now NYCC 100 Edition: Tie Dye

The BAD IDEA merchandise store at Baltimore Comic Con was a huge success. With 300 people lining up every day, all 100 editions sold out, and more creators than you could shake a stick at asking to be part of the irresistible and super popular BAD IDEA action, we’re back! It needed to be done.

BAD IDEA Merch Store’s next stop is New York Comic Con. If you love pizza, have rats as your friend, and gawk at what New York City residents are saying, rejoice because BAD IDEA is giving you a choice once again. Nine convention-exclusive items are coming to the NYCC BAD IDEA Merch Store! Some are for the first time (and probably the last time… we expect them to sell out).

BAD IDEA Merch Store (booth 3421) will be open for one hour each day. During this time, 6 special comics and 3 collector items will be available for free.

The good thing: All nine items are free. Get in line and tell us what you want when it’s your turn.

Cons: Each person can only choose two items per day (one comic and one collector’s item). To have a chance to get up to 8 items, you must come back and visit daily to get other items.

The Ugly Point: Items are very limited and will sell out, so choose wisely. The items you missed may be sold out when you return.

comics

I finally did it! For over 10 years (going back to Valiant), we’ve been working to create a prepress and printing process that allows us to produce comic books where every print run is unique.

This amazing technology is now possible. We are very proud to offer six comic books that are entirely 1/1 editions. That’s right, we’re bringing you six new 100 editions. Now PLANET DEATH NYCC 100 Edition, CUL-DE-SAC NYCC 100 Edition, ORDAINED NYCC 100 Edition, MEGALITH NYCC 100 Edition, SURVIVE NYCC 100 Edition, and SAVE NYCC 100 Edition!

Featuring three new titles: CUL-DE-SAC, MEGALITH, and SAVE NOW, three titles with new covers: PLANET DEATH, ORDAINED, and SURVIVE, and a host of new interiors, including the first texted preview of PLANET DEATH.

(Check out all 12 covers here.)

stolen goods
600 individual comics aren’t enough!

We’re offering three high-end collector’s items commemorating one of our big upcoming titles. As with comics, each item is free, but quantities are limited and only one per person per day can be purchased while supplies last.

planet death hat

Look! Planet Death: Hat. It is exactly the same as the full combat battle armor worn by the troops sent to destroy the weapons in PLANET DEATH. Crafted from ultra-soft cotton twill and featuring a breathable cotton jersey, PLANET DEATH:THE HAT will keep you cool all day long as you battle the savage hordes bent on ruthless destruction that have gathered in PLANET DEATH.

ordained dog tag

Become Staff Sergeant Roy Craig with these authentic military style dog tags and chains. Embossed in durable rolled edge stainless steel, this tag is built tough enough to withstand the heat of battle. The included rosary seen in ORDAINED #1 is not included.

survival lunch box

SURVIVE’s LUNCHBOX is forged with a tactical-grade metal exterior durable enough to build Russian military submarines and is built to withstand the pressures of a 600 meter dive. This retro-style lunch box with a spacious main compartment is insulated to keep your meals fresh and cool. For even more convenience, we’ve installed a built-in carry handle for easy transport to work, school, or sailing.
