Following Marvel’s sold-out Deadpool/Batman #1 comic crossover one-shot, and just ahead of the release of Batman/Deadpool #1 from DC next week, both publishers today announced the availability of a digital-only crossover comic. The list of exits grows. Almost all of France’s biggest comics publishers have canceled their participation in the 2026 Angoulême International Comics Festival, with Frank Bondou’s company 9e Art+ set to remain as operator until 2036. Skyler Gisondo, who played Jimmy Olsen in James Gunn’s Superman, is set to reprise his role in a game-changing new series from the creator of American Vandal. Variety reports that HBO Max is developing a (fake) true crime documentary series set in the DC Universe, titled DC Crime. The first season of DC Crimes will center around Gorilla Grodd, which could hint at a planned appearance for The Flash, but it’s equally likely that the story will center around Grodd’s political battle with Solovar in Gorilla City. Alan Moore and David Lloyd’s famous comic V for Vendetta is returning to our screens. No, we’re not just screening next year’s 20th anniversary revival of the cult favorite. HBO has hired Pete Jackson to adapt the film for television. To be clear, that’s Pete Jackson from Somewhere Boy and The Death of Bunny Munro, not Peter Jackson from The Lord of the Rings.
