Also, retailers will be credited for all copies of issue #1, including those already sold. Future issues have already been removed from League of Comic Geeks. Certainly, there are many great comics released every week. But sometimes its most special title hits the shelf, and it feels like you’re watching memorable talent step up or combine cultural moments. It’s a very often edgy, heartfelt little book called Blood Honey, the latest in author artist Shawn Peacock. The stars of Blood Honey are Vanessa de la Mora and Edgar St. Clair, the most popular couples in the “Burton-style” world at Manderray Reserve High School. But rather than being in love with young (and really climbing the high school hierarchy as the king and queen of Homecoming), Vanessa…
Series co-writer Joseph Illidge teases how explosive the showdown is. “This is a battle that we promised readers from day one! Both Blood Letter and Spawn are former spies. Tim and I knew we had to mix the atrocities with a bit of diving. Tasha Thornwall from Blood Letter is Haitian and South American, so she spawns with Creole magic and speaks in her native language. There is no translation here. You see these two mystics in battle from afar, so the strength of the words associated with their actions tell you what you need to know. Storytelling by artist…

Discovery Global Consumer Products, is the first issue in a six-part series that spins directly from Rick and Morty: The End #1, this summer’s Rick and Morty vs. The Universe event. This time, Rick and Morty don’t just stand up to impossible odds. They stare at the literal end of everything, including each other. And yes, the title means exactly what it’s saying. After more than a decade of adventure and over 100 issues, the end begins here, and is brought to life by writer Daniel Kibblesmith (Loki) and artist Jarrett Williams (Speed…
