The European Commission has stopped waiting for Apple to comply with the rules of the Digital Markets Act (DMA). As one of the DMA-designated gatekeepers, made up of the industry’s largest and most important companies, it has launched a procedure to ensure the company complies with its interoperability obligations. Between late June and early July, Iranian hackers sent unsolicited emails to members of the Biden campaign. According to a joint statement from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the FBI, and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, the emails contained excerpts of non-public materials stolen from former President Trump’s election campaign.
