Predator vs. Black Panther #2 picks up where the series’ debut issue left off, with Black Panther and Wakandan forces soon facing off against the Yajuta invaders. But what T’Challa doesn’t know is that he’s now their primary target as the Yajuta launch an invasion that wants his vibranium costume and all of Wakanda’s vibranium.Benjamin Percy maintains the same mythical approach to the narration, unfolding the story as if he’s telling a tale around a campfire. It’s a double-edged sword: on the one hand, it makes the fights feel truly epic. Black Panther is steeped in history and myth, so…

When Sony released the PlayStation 5 in 2020, it wasn’t possible to expand the console’s storage. Thankfully, that changed with a software update that the company pushed out less than a year later. And with how big some game installs have become in recent years, it’s a good thing, too: the PS5’s built-in 667GB of space may have been good enough in the system’s first year, but in 2024, the default drive is absolutely limiting. The good news is a standard PCIe Gen4 x4 M.2 NVMe SSD can solve all of your PS5 storage woes. If that mess of acronyms has…

Image courtesy of Dark Horse Comics One of the coolest things about this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Masters of the Universe crossover is truly the cover — and no, we’re not talking about the incredible Freddie Williams II and Andrew Dalhouse art (more on that in a moment!) — we’re talking about the actual title of the comic. It’s a great sign that this crossover is going to play out a little differently than you might expect: instead of the expected and often clunky format of separating the titles of both series with a slash or “vs,” the creators…

Writers Gail Simone and Rainbow Rowell are wrapping up their Action Comics storylines in this week’s Action Comics #1069. Their first two parts with Eddie Burrows and Kian Tomei were fantastic, but can they bring these stories to a close and live on forever? The stakes are certainly high in both installments!First up, Simone and Burroughs’ Superman vs. the aliens tournament for the safety of Earth. Superman survives most of the challenges, but is so battered he can barely stand. So far, the story has shown that Superman can think fast, be brave and win, but most importantly, he never…

Batman: The Long Halloween has always felt like a Pandora’s box of stories that should never be opened again. Only a tragic ending can come out of it. That being said, Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale have had plenty of success with sequels, including this 2021 one-shot. With Tim Sale gone, Loeb is now using different artists for each issue and publishing The Long Halloween as Batman: The Long Halloween – The Last Halloween as his final attempt. I’m super nervous about DC being able to pull it off.Color artist Dave Stewart and letterer/designer Richard Starkings return to Loeb, so…

Batman has died, battled demons, and lost the faith of Gotham, but it all comes to an end this week in Detective Comics’ latest story arc, the grand finale of “Gotham Nocturne,” in which Batman takes down the Ogre Family for good, with multiple parties involved.Like any good Batman fight, Detective Comics #1089 is all about his plan coming to fruition. We’ve seen bits and pieces here and there, like the involvement of Azrael and Two-Face, but now it’s all payoff. In fact, there are barely any stakes in this issue because Batman’s victory is so inevitable. The Orgasm Queen…
