Disney announced the new rules aimed at curbing password sharing among streaming subscribers, following plans it first announced in last month’s earnings call. In a blog post today, the company explained that Disney+ will be adding a paid sharing feature. For an additional fee of $7 per month for Disney+ Basic and $10 per month for Disney+ Premium, account holders will be able to give one person outside of their household (an Extra Member) access to their plan. Meta has announced an interesting tool that uses AI to automatically dub Reels into other languages with lip syncing.
