DC Comics has released their full solicitations information for titles scheduled to ship in December 2024. Independent publisher Goats Flying Press on Thursday announced four new titles, including a graphic novel by cartoonist Juni Ba and letterer Aditya Vidhikaru. The Brooklyn-based publisher plans to release all four books in 2025, which it is calling the Year of the Goat. In addition to Ba and Bidikar’s books, the lineup includes a horror one-shot set in 1983, the start of a new volume of Scales and Scoundrels, and the first issue of a three-part sci-fi horror comedy. According to a press release from LG and a report from FlatpanelsHD, LG has started showing screensaver ads on all of its smart TVs, including its more expensive OLED models, which appear before the regular screensaver starts.One of FlatpanelsHD’s reviewers discovered third-party ads on top of ads for LG’s own streaming channels. Hellboy: The Crooked Man will reportedly skip a theatrical release in the US, with the new film set to hit theaters on Tuesday, October 8th (Monday at 9pm PST) and is currently available for digital pre-order on Amazon. Directed by Brian Taylor and written by Hellboy co-creator Mike Mignola in collaboration with Christopher Golden, Hellboy: The Crooked Man marks the second reboot of the film series.
