Uber has invented a relatively low-cost way to get to and from New York City’s airports: shuttle buses. Starting today, the company is offering rides between LaGuardia Airport and Manhattan transit hubs for $18 each. According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, Uber is offering rides for half the price of $9 for the first month of service.This will be much cheaper than a taxi for a solo traveler.
