For one, it uses the Oryon CPU, which debuted last year in the X Elite chips for laptops, according to leaked slides from Videocardz. It also uses a new 3nm process node instead of last year’s 4nm node. This allows Snapdragon 8 Elite to deliver 45% faster single and multi-core performance while using 27% less power than Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.While we’re still waiting for more details on the Snapdragon 8 Elite to be…
Squadron 42, a single-player game set in the Star Citizen universe, has been delayed until 2026. This is interesting since the developer said the game was “feature complete” last year. The 42nd Squadron was first announced in 2014 and has experienced numerous delays over the past decade. The reason for the delay is said to be to allow for further polishing. Chris Roberts, head of Cloud Imperium Games (CIG), said at CitizenCon this weekend that he is “confident” the title will be released in 2026. To satisfy its ardent fans, the developer released an hour-long gameplay video recording the beginning, as…
Dynamite Entertainment’s Thundercats comic book series is set to bring a new twist to the series. In November, fans can expect a significant standalone issue focusing on the series’ iconic villains, with art by guest artist Joe Mulvey. Of course, much of the series focuses on the cats of the title, but in many subsequent issues, writer Declan Shalvey dedicates specific page time to certain members, using that time to explore the new cats. I spent a lot of time deepening the character description. The series also introduced new characters such as Kalika and Apex. Well, the next issue shifts…
