Lily and T. Hawk, members of the Thunderfoot tribe, are traveling to a sacred site for a ritual regarding the relics of their ancestors. With representatives of Shadaloo on the scene, Lily and T. Hawk find themselves facing a terrifying supernatural threat that threatens the safety of their village, and even the safety of the world itself. I have to say that I didn’t know anything about Lily until I read this comic that appeared in Street Fighter 6, but this comic features a brave young fighter along with one or two familiar faces. does a great job of introducing…

Today, NASA released new images of the phantom galaxy, also known as M74 and NGC 628. The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) captured it. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Webb telescope send back pictures of phantom galaxies. NASA previously announced 2022.Below is a 2022 image for comparison. Despite the color difference, it is clear that both images are of the same galaxy. ESA/Webb, NASA & CSA, J. LeeWebb captured the old images using only the Mid-Infrared Instrument (MIRI). Conversely, the new one combines data from MIRI and Webb’s near-infrared camera (NIRCam). This combination allowed scientists on the…

Many friends and family members who are not regular Apple users have asked about hearing tests and hearing aid features, among other things. These tools have…
What do you get when you combine a samurai story, dark fantasy, and Kickstarter? Why “Aruku Akumu” is a brand new comic (currently crowdfunding) that doesn’t just check a few boxes.Written by Luke Stokes and illustrated by Caleb Addy (winner of Todd McFarlane’s Spawn Alley contest), Ark Akumu (meaning “Walking Nightmare”) is a story about “a demonic man seeking salvation. Getting a really good tablet at a reasonable price is quite an accomplishment. That’s why we’re happy to see that Amazon’s Fire Max 11 tablet is currently on sale for $140, a 39 percent discount off $230. The deal returns this 64GB tablet to its lowest price ever, previously seen during Prime Day in October.Amazon released the Fire Max 11 tablet in 2023, and we were immediately impressed with what it offered for the price (especially now that it’s discounted). It has slimmer bezels, superior aluminum construction, and weighs just over 1 pound. The 11-inch screen has a resolution of…
Emma Rios may be best known for her work on projects like Pretty Deadly and The Mirror. In what Amazon described as a “difficult decision,” it is discontinuing Kindle Vella service and plans to shut it down completely in February 2025. When the company launched its serialized fiction platform in 2021, Vella said it was a way for readers to discover new fiction. We offer new ways for stories and authors to earn money from Kindle Direct Publishing Services. However, it didn’t catch on as much as expected, and three years after Vella’s debut, Amazon decided to stop using it, Amazon said on its website.Authors can publish stories on Vella only until December 4th, which is also…
Unlike some other mediums, comics have a kind of intermediary standalone issue that can fall apart from time to time. In some cases, it’s a winner and gives people a chance to breathe between the action. In some cases, it can also dampen people’s enthusiasm and motivation. In the case of Uncanny Valley #6, it was certainly the former, as it takes time to explore the origins of the comic book world.Considering where it left off after Uncanny Valley #5, just such a move could easily have spelled doom. Oliver’s journey to discover his roots and understand his role among…
