As a fan of Street Fighter since the beginning, I’m impressed with the way UDON has handled the series into comics. Street Fighter comics existed before UDON acquired the license in the early ’00s, but no one could get it right. It was clear from the beginning that everyone at UDON Studios is a huge fan of Capcom games. Because they understand what makes games work. This issue focuses on Kimberly Jackson, who is fed up with the gentrification of Metro City. There are shady things going on behind the scenes, including money laundering and people being forced to leave…

Ahead of cartoonist Emma Rios’ new graphic novel Ansuero being released by Image Comics this week, The Beat can publish an exclusive preview with comments from the creator. Ansuelo is a dystopian story about three children after the ocean rebels and absorbs and changes everything on Earth. They are lost like everyone else, but they band together to overcome the unique adversity of surviving at sea and do not want to harm any living beings.
