Infinity Nikki is my favorite new release for 2024. This is a cotton candy open-world game with a lot more depth and variety than I expected. I enjoy the great wardrobes, understated puzzles, and engaging side quests. But what surprised me most about Infinity Nikki was something I had ignored for years in games: photo mode.I didn’t expect this to be the highlight of my Infinity Nikki experience. In fact, when this question came up during a long series of tutorials in my first session, my first reaction was, “Oh, great, I can forget about it.” Anna Washenko / Infold…
Elon Musk’s X has increased the price of its ad-free Premium+ subscription service to $22 per month from the previous $16 ($168 to $229 per year), TechCrunch reported. This represents a 37.5 percent increase, the largest since Elon Musk acquired the platform formerly known as Twitter in 2022.One reason for the price increase is that Premium+ is now “completely ad-free,” which X claims is a “significant enhancement” to the previous ad-free experience. Several other features were also promised. “Premium+ subscribers enjoy more prioritized support from @Premium, access to new features like Radar (X’s advanced search tool), and higher limits on…

Apple is working on the next generation of AirPods Pro, which could come with some new health features, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Garman, a rumor we heard earlier in 2021. Yes, it is.The company has reportedly started testing features such as temperature sensing and heart rate monitoring on the earbuds. Apple found that while the Apple Watch still performed better on the latter, AirPods measurements were “not far off.”The company may also be reviving the idea of putting cameras in AirPods, a rumor we’ve heard several times over the last year. But AirPods with cameras are probably still years away.–…
NASA’s Parker Solar Probe is still making history as it orbits the sun, preparing to set a new record this week. The space agency says the spacecraft’s orbit will reach just 3.8 million miles from the sun’s surface at 6:53 a.m. ET on Dec. 24. This will be the closest ever or any other spacecraft to the Sun. This milestone marks the completion of Parker Solar Probe’s 22nd orbit around our star and the first of three final flybys planned for that mission. Become something to do. The spacecraft, launched in 2018, is scheduled to make a total of 24…

A new report released by child safety organizations Heat Initiative and ParentsTogether Action details the alarming presence of inappropriate apps in Apple’s App Store that are rated suitable for children as young as 4. Apple is developing a smart doorbell and lock system that uses Face ID to unlock the doors of known occupants, Mark Gurman reports in the Power On newsletter. Garman said the face-scanning doorbell will connect to smart deadbolts, which could include existing HomeKit-compatible third-party locks. Alternatively, Apple could “partner with certain key manufacturers to provide complete systems from day one.”However, it may still be some time before doorbell lock systems hit the market. Gurman reports that this is in the early stages of development and won’t be ready until at least the end of next year. Garman said the doorbell…
