Issue 6’s story concerns Tombstone’s final move to gain control of New York City, including killing his own daughter. Luckily for her, Spider-Man is a simple finale, but does not allow it in thrilling. The story begins with Amazing Spider-Man #55 as Spider-Man is in a hurry to reach the date. Soon, he is at the dinner table across from him with a very angry Shay. The story slows from here, taking advantage of an eight-panel grid…
Doom has risen! Everything can be hung! Spin out of the events of the first issue of One World under Doom, the Fantastic Four is upset. They attempted to stop him along with the other heroes and failed. What now? Well, sometimes life, uh, find a way. That’s how this issue begins – Sue tells this chapter as she goes on the way that life never stops, simply because Doom ruled the world. That’s a worrying idea, right? It’s very foresightful for the time we are in.Marvel ComicsLike issues #21 and #22 where Reed and Alicia spent time together, this…
Absolute Wonder Woman was a grand series that not only rethinks iconic heroes through a fresh and compelling story, but also celebrates the heritage of the characters. Author Kelly Thompson and artist Hayden Sherman have been offering bold and original take on classic superheroes. This week, it wasn’t as much as the absolute Wonder Woman #5.So far, the absolute Wonder Woman has remixed the familiar ones, like Wonder Woman Historia: Amazon’s idea by Kelly Sue Deconic, Phil Jimenez, Jean Ha and Nicola Scott. She sacrifices her arm to save her love, Steve Trevor. In Absolute Wonder Woman #5, it’s about…
Superman #23 has an adversaries that can Warp Time, so it’s only a matter of time before certain events repeat themselves or give hints about the future. Both happen within a short time as Lois Lane finds her husband is in the same position as before the two problems. Meet the time trapper. How does she react when faced with the same choices he offered to Superman? This issue not only serves as a mirror in Superman #20, but also as a way for Joshua Williamson to showcase how Lois and Clark handle the crisis. With Clark, he tries reason, but…
Green Arrow #21 continues the story of a freshwater murderer. Like all previous issues, Chris Condon starts by contextualizing the story in a more realistic way than a vigilante who aims for a hood that points boxing gloves-shaped arrows at the Bad Guy. No, this Green Arrow Tale keeps readers wondering how often this happens today. How many people are affected by the chemicals in the community system? And from there, the story leaps to a higher boundary.DCOliver Queen is in trouble. Not only does his name have to do with the chemical disaster in Horton, but there are intruders…
Green Lantern Dark #3 finally comes here, and it brings a range of improvements from the last issue. Created by Tate Brombal, Werther Dell’edera, and Giovanna Niro, #3 introduces more of the Rina world. Along the way, they provide insight into what rarely makes this whole new Green Lantern tick. Unfortunately, Lina doesn’t seem to have an answer to herself. Before going into the details of the issue, it is important to address the elephant-sized lanterns in the room. Maintaining a connection with monthly comics can be difficult enough, but the two-month gap between Green Lantern Dark #2 and Green Lantern…
Detective Comics #1094 begins with Batman lying next to a dying teenager. The pages are coloured in heavy red as the flames almost engulf our two characters. And when the Batmobile arrived just in time, its blue headlights caused an impressive mix of shades. Mikel Janin’s color controls continue to pass out, showing wide range of pink and blue values in Batmobile decor. The pink and red colors are especially important for the series that are always included in Mikel. I can only speculate that it refers to the effects of scarlet and acema, and what is felt on every page…
Green Lantern #20 features a script that reminds us of the legendary story of the Green Lantern Legion, space adventures, and how the involvement of the Green Lantern Legion influenced daily life. Sometimes the story was about Ringwilder, the bad guy, or someone random. In this case, it shows the intersection of men who gave the emotions awful luck, and when the emotional spectrum goes wild, anger becomes entrenched. In this quirky, emotional story, artist Jack Herbert joins current creative team members Jeremy Adams and Romulo Fajardo Jr. Green Lantern #20A preview of this issue gives you a glimpse into…
Jeff Roeb and Tim Sale’s final foray into “Long Halloween” is one of the most precious Batman stories to date, so we’re still excited. Sadly, selling with us is no longer with us, but we need a village to bring the level of artistry we had expected from him. The Right Case, Batman: Long Halloween – The final Halloween #5 features the sienkiewicz, an unparalleled bill of art, and is undoubtedly an exception in this week’s issue.Saying Batman is a long Halloween: The final Halloween #5 is trippy. Sienkiewicz’s art is not only artistically wild swing, but the events in…
Black Canary: Best of the Best, Black Canary gets kicked in the ass. She is fighting Shiva in a match where you have to surrender or die in the ring. In the final issue, Batman was featured in the killer training scene, but things are different in this week’s issue. In Black Canary: Best of the Best #4, Black Canary also acquires the edge of the ring, so the green arrows take up oxygen.First of all, it’s great to see Black Canary, also known as Dyna, once take the lead. Some of the last issues were cruel as Shiva mercilessly…
