Candidates for the Graphic Medicine Awards 2025 have been announced. The award presents comics that stimulate and enlighten various aspects of human health. The winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony in July this year. The 2025 edition of the Graphic Medicine Awards received 89 submissions in all categories. Each winner will receive a $600 award and special commemorative item. The character of Better Knonw’s Michael Holt of superhero moniker Mr. Therific is a very good Superman film played by actor Edi Gathegi, and is scheduled to make his big screen debut this July. As filmmaker James Gunn pointed out in an Instagram post, yesterday marked the anniversary of the character’s first appearance in the comics.
