“Frankly, every firearm in one size kill has too many immortal types, and a delicious alternative was to keep them alive. The legions of destiny attack as their revenge against the modern net is in full motion. After carefully placed Dominoes led to an invasion of the Watchtower, the Justice League was scattered over time by airwaves, sharply defending the station, bringing Grodd closer to his mystical goals than ever before. In this penultimate chapter yesterday, a busy timecaper comes to mind. And while the story has been a bit scattered up until now, Justice League Unlimited #7, while…
The current volume of Uncanny X-Men is a crown jewel of the new X-Men era, playing successfully with both established characters, effectively maintaining the long history of the new teenage team. Doing both well in one book is an impressive feat. Previous teen books like the new Mutants and Generation X have fully established fresh characters and relationships without juggling fan favorite characters such as Rogue, Gambit, and Wolverine. Amazing Certainly there are a few waffles. Writer Gale Simone and artist David Marquez are smart enough to change focus – the issue of Gambit here, the problem of the night…
Chaos led to the green arrows finally put an end to the freshwater murderer. The story slowly accumulates over time, raising sociological questions about differences in social class and their influence. Maybe that didn’t feel the same as when Ollie finally caught Kenny, when Batman caught Joker. Kenny broke the law. repetition. But that was different. Was Kenny evil or did a series of traumatic events change the trajectory of his life? Well, that’s because you decide. But with most of it being said and done, there is still an epilogue that concludes the first arc of Chris Condon and…

Reading the first issue of Predator vs. Spider-Man, I couldn’t help but feel that Benjamin Percy was reading my mind. My favorite superhero is Spider-Man, and as someone whose favorite movie “As someone whose monsters are predators, I’ve always wondered what would happen when the two of them met. Predator vs. Spider-Man #2 thankfully keeps the momentum of the first issue, blending heroic and horror. New York City captures the victims by grasping the record heat wave and the relentless Yautzha known as the “Skinner,” while Peter Parker competes to solve the mystery of an insane predator. But he has…
Yesterday, via Hollywood reporters, KickAss creators Mark Miller and John Romita Jr. announced they would be replaying Psychic Sam, a violent, minority reporting-like action series about vigilantes who heard voices telling the names and addresses of future murderers. It is currently crowdfunded on Kickstarter and will be released by the new Imprint Side Hustle Comics in place of Millarworld, a company owned by Millar. At the time of writing, it has already surpassed its £20,000 target and has raised £22,549. Sam Nicoletti hears the voice in her head before anything bad happens. The voice tells him the name and address…
Illyana Rasputina is familiar with dark forces that want to manipulate and control her, demonic enemies of other dimensions. Before she was known as a mutant named Magick, Ilyana was a small girl living with her parents and sibling Piotr at the UST-Ordynski collective farm in Siberia. Ilyana was then brought to the US in a scheme organized by the Arcade, an eccentric assassin. Immediately after being rescued from the arcade, Ilyana was re-ebducted. This time, he was accused by the demon Velasco, who took Ilyana to the hellish dimension of Limbo. During Ilyana’s Limbo days, she was abused and…
After weeks of relatively boring filing in Diamond’s bankruptcy case, things get heated once again as the publisher wants to pay. Wear a hat with a graphics policy to stay up to date with the latest news. Late Tuesday, they reported on filings that have not yet hit the main docket page. Dynamite Entertainment, the last remaining diamond “exclusive” publisher, has filed a motion calling for the payment of $509,114.21 worth of products shipped between 4/27/25 and 5/11/25. They also seek attorney fees, interest and late fees. Dynamite is the last major publisher with no new distribution partners. CEO Nick…
Al Ewing and Steve Lieber’s Metamorpho: The Element Man was the strangest of the new books launched with DC’s “All in” initiative. Essentially ignoring the timeline of current events within the DC Universe, Ewing and Reeber use the series instead to tell a fun, tongue-in-the-tongued comic story back to Lex Mason’s Golden Age adventure. This series is an absolute explosion, and Metamorpho: The Element Man #6 brings the series to land so that only these creators can complete the evil sun that is angry, a trip to mystical realms, and plenty of winks to the audience. As the crazy solar…
Jeremy Adams and Zarmanico are in hell! As we saw in the final issue of Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, Phantom Stranger and Zauriel traveled to hell in search of artifacts that would help stop the misuse of the starbreaker and emotional spectrum of sadness. While there we saw some wild stuff, most importantly, G’Nort! From this cover, you know that there are youkai waiting there, so how will Hal and Spectre respond to this new meeting? “Hal Specter” was something Hal Specter didn’t bother him in the comics when Hal wasn’t in the Green Lantern, so I’m looking forward to…
