The first issue will begin at the comic shop on September 17th. “It’s a whim for the classic wild waist tail – uh, I mean the story – set in the early days of Naserleverse,” said writer Matt Hotson. “We are digging into the history of the Moo Montana Ex and the case of first taking him to Cowtown. Mu…
Marvel Comics reveals details of the story and covers upcoming One World art under Doom #7 on September 10th. But he’s not going to give up on it without a fight – in some ways. New York, New…

A recent discussion of the Superman Sale reminded me of Superman: The Exile and Other Stories Omnibus Collection. It brings together a significant portion of the period just after John Byrne’s reboot, following the crisis on the endless Earth, following the Age of the Triangle, but it could be argued that perhaps the creative push at that time began here. The majority of the creative team defining the Triangle era combined here with the work of Jerry Ordway, Dan Jurges, Kerry Gammill, Dennis Janke and Brett Breeding. Like the writers I see here when he rode the Superman Family (though…
Snoochee Boo Cheese, Comic Fan – Riverdale has got more jerseys. How do you do two very different visual worlds, as one clean cut and cartoon, another horrible and deadpan – was meant to always clash? For veteran Archie artist Fernando Rous, the answer was on par with simplicity, familiarity with fandom, research and style. When Archie meets Jay and Silent Bob #1, Ruiz takes on the challenge of dropping Kevin Smith’s cult classic character into Archie Comics’ refined pastel-colored universe. As a result, Jay, Silent Bob and Clarks’ Randall Graves are cartoons that look just as seamless as Surreal,…
