It may not even be July, but Jason Sean Alexander already hopes you’re thinking about Christmas.More specifically, the artist (behind books like Killer Delphia and the Sky Zone) recently launched a Zoop campaign for Scrooge: A Christmas Carol. As you may already guess from the title, Scrooge sees Alexander adding artwork to Charles Dickens’ famous 1843 novel. It’s an opportunity to “share the images that appear in my head when I read this ghostly story,” as Alexander explained in his press material. But there is yet another wrinkle to this story. Scrouge actually began in the early 2000s with a “never…
In the late 90s/early 2000s, Christopher’s priests redefine the Black Panther for the new millennium. Now, in an exclusive interview with AIPT, the priest revealed that he wanted the same revival of the steamy Vampirella.Since her inception, people’s general opinion on Vampirella has not evolved much. Instead, it’s easy to fire Vampirella for her outfit and her throwback appeal to an outdated, bygone era. But that is where the priest comes out. Unlike Vampirra, who is just to showcase horror movies, Vampirra is more than just a no-eye treat. If people can pass through sexy covers, the priest promises that…

Oni Press has released a new graphic novel that will be released in February 2026, 46 years after June was first recognized. Angéli que Roché works with trios such as Alvin Epps, Bex Glendining and Rising Star Millicent Monroe at the Biographical Graphic Novel. “It doesn’t take long to see the great grandson of a runaway slave born into Jim Crow and separated, taught through integration, and grown to become a grandmother in June, have the story that needs to be told.” “Too often, the stories of African Americans and our communities are filled with devastating and lacking moments, from…
IDW has announced that the Twilight Zone will be coming to the comic shop from September 24th. The anthology series falls under IDW’s Horror Imprint IDW Dark, with all issues appearing in black and white just like the original TV series. The first issue features a storyline by Dan Watters (Batman: Dark Pattern) and Morgan Beam (Swamp Thing: Twin Branch).”The Twilight Zone is a genre in itself,” Watters said. “It’s a cultural Titan, a cultural Titan that reveals what science fiction, fantasy and horror can do for us, and the strangest North Star in the Sky. It reveals unpleasant truths about…
Naturally, Ororo Munro’s latest solo series is amazing. I need to make this a 100-round run, bold and insightful storytelling from Murewa Ayodele and Lucas Werneck, Storm Vol. 1: Earth’s most powerful mutants have recently shown Ororo as a leading figure in all Marvel comics. Of course, Storm has always been that girl, but with her impressive solo heroism, Avengers membership and an abstract cosmic connection called Eternity, Ororo Munro is now on a whole other level. And I’m… here! I don’t want this series to end. Personally, I strongly believe that Storm is the strongest of everything from the…
Go back to people again and review another Transformers from Skybound! This is issue #21 due to Dream Team Daniel Warren Johnson and Jorge Corona. He appeared in this book over two years and finally kicks the main event to Overdrive. Optimus Prime vs. Megatron! ‘Naph said. Let’s talk about that. This issue serves several purposes, but the most important is to answer lingering questions about Optimus changes. You get a full confirmation of #EvilarmTheory, but the writing has been clearly and well up on the wall for a while. But the actual storey confirmation comes from Prime itself this time,…
This week, Kamala Khan’s crash course in Mutantkind’s history continues with the huge size Dark Phoenix Saga #1. In this article, artist Rod Reiss joins the creative team. The creative team already includes event writers Jackson Lanzing and Colin Kelly, VC Clayton Cowles and Tom Breboat. Fellow newcomers at this huge size anniversary celebration are Steve Fox and Lucas Wellneck. Old Legion was thwarted in an attempt to destroy the past by killing Krakoa before the island became the home of mutants. His new target? Dark Phoenix. 2025 marks the 45th anniversary of the original Dark Phoenix Saga. In June…
The Ultimate Black Panther #17 is amazing for all the right reasons. This provides a radically covered plot twist, but recontextualizes the series. It actually drives the story forward. And it shifts the focus from T’Challa to Erik Killmonger. But how will Killmonger deal with protecting a kingdom that is not him, especially when his enemies are in the middle of him? The way Brian Hill gets closer to Killmonger’s traits is truly persuasive. Not only does Killmonger maintain the desire to share Wakanda’s resources, but his insights have actually been taken into consideration and sometimes implemented. Hill also writes…
