On July 10th, Webtoon announced a major change in its North American entertainment business, officially rebranding Wattpad Webtoon Studios as Wettoon Productions. The move comes with a new name, fresh logo and an updated leadership structure aimed at expanding global IP and production efforts. David Madden has been promoted to President of Webtoon Productions, with Maximilian Jo intervening as vice president and head of strategy for the company’s global IP business team.
