James Tynion IV and Letizia Cadonici’s Truth of Truth #32 have a new kind of villain, but this one doesn’t come from a suspicious government office or has no badges. He does not even exist beyond the realm of hallucinating and drug-induced dream states. Covered by shadows (is he wearing a shadow?), Hatman’s office is actually your own bedroom in the middle of the night. His visits are often unwanted (though some people try to “contact” him), and the experience is usually frightening. All you need to do is a dangerous amount of antihistamines or cold medicine. Mold typeMinacher: Nick BorelliDesigned by Patrick ClottyPublisher: PEOW2/$25June 2025 Mold Mold is an artist’s monograph edited from works by custom miniature makers. “Conversion” kit basher and creepy tinker. Enthusiasts. You should see his workspace. Nick Borelli’s works are just as overwhelming. Nightmare human forms are often very mutated and no longer recognized as people. This is similar to a generator. A goofy flash mass mini. Despite its inexplicability, it’s stupid. Glossy, charming and unique. Each creature tells a story, so pause your sanity and listen. Mold Mold is located at the boundary between the artist’s catalogue and the creature’s grand…

Over the past 20 years, comic writer Dan Slot has had a very prolific career with Marvel, most notably the prominent run that has written the publisher’s mark character Spider-Man. He’s no longer exclusive to Marvel, so Slot returned to DC Comics earlier this year, writing an iconic superhero dressed in yet another major colour outfit, and unveiling a brand new Superman Unlimited ongoing series. At San Diego Comic-Con, I had the opportunity to sit with the slot and discuss everything, including his thoughts on the new film, the introduction of a new superpower for The Man of Steel, and…
Following the fall of Miss Truthdale and Hyperborea in the hit 2023 series, legendary Hellboy creator Mike Mignora and artist Jesse Ronergan (Best of the Man) are working together again in the next chapter of the saga. This fourth-issue miniseries written by Mignola features art and colours by Ronergan and letters by Clem Robbins, but also features main and variant covers by Ronergan. “Since putting together the BPRD series, I’ve become more and more interested in exploring the origins of Hellboy’s universe,” said Mignora. “I don’t dream of telling the rise of humans without Jesse Ronergan’s incredible storytelling ability. The…
Earlier this year, 10 Speed published a non-fiction graphic novel, “The Short History of a Long War: The Battle against Russian Rule in Ukraine.” Today, this beat can reveal the unforgettable American version of the book by Ukrainian artists Ilia Vus and Ivan Kipivida. The long short history of the war was written by Ukrainian scholar, activist and award-winning journalist Mariam Nayem. In addition to examining the 2014 Russian-Crane war that led to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, this is just a recent demonstration of Russian Ukraine’s oppression – Nayem examines how Russia and the Soviet government were exposed…
