Marvel’s Star Wars Comics is reimagining unused Return of the Jedi art for the upcoming comic book series Star Wars: Jedi Knight. Straight from the 80’s Kenner Toy line comes ATHA PRIME, the main villain who was meant to be the big bad for the Star Wars toy line.
This new comic series comes straight from the mind of acclaimed screenwriter and comics artist Marc Guggenheim and features artwork by Madivek Mousabekov. The STAR WARS: JEDI KNIGHTS #1 comic officially launches on March 5th, and many hints about what’s to come have already been sprinkled throughout the Star Wars comic story.
“While developing the series, Mark discovered this deep cut, the antagonist of Kenner’s unrealized toy series ‘Epic Continues,'” editor Mark Panicia explained in a press release. did. “I saw the original design and was instantly sold.
