This is the latest MacBook Pro with the M3 chip, released last year. It has a 14-inch display, an 8-core CPU, and a 10-core GPU. Our official review gave the laptop high praise, calling the design a “major improvement” from previous MacBook Pro releases, and praising the “beautiful” Liquid Retina XDR display, plethora of ports, and the speedy M3 processor.
This machine is also on our list of the best MacBooks, and for good reason. We called it the “Best MacBook for Creative People” because of its incredibly efficient and powerful CPU. Apple silicon is no joke. Battery life is great, lasting about 24 hours on a single charge, which means you can get three full days of work done.
One word of warning, though: this is a model with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Storage is plenty, with plenty of ports for external drives and an SD card slot. However, if you choose the MacBook Pro over the Air, you’re better off buying the model with 16GB of RAM to get the most out of your machine. Luckily, the 1TB/16GB version is also available on Amazon for $1,700.
