Apple Music users have had access to the Replay feature throughout 2024, but Apple compiled all the stats in its annual roundup of the entire year in streaming. Now, you’ll be able to see the full playback experience from the Home, New, and Search tabs in the Apple Music app. Requires iOS 18.1 or later to view. Previously, you had to visit a microsite to get detailed information about replays, but that’s still an option on the web.
As always, you can save a playlist of your most played songs in 2024, but that and your stats will be finalized in January. You’ll also still have access to past replays if you miss them or need a point of comparison (Spotify doesn’t offer them on Wrapped).
In addition to the usual details about top artists, songs, albums, genres, playlists, and total hours listened to Apple Music, there are some new features this year. You can now see if an artist is in the top 500 or 1,000 listeners, expanding beyond the previous year’s top 100 limit. You can check the longest consecutive days of streaming from Apple Music. There is an option to view top songs, artists, and albums by month. You’ll also see the date you first heard this year’s top artists, songs, and albums.
Meanwhile, artists will have access to their own version of Replay for the first time. Via your dashboard, you can see the total minutes your subscribers listened to your music, total listeners, top cities, and most shagged songs.
The most listened to song on Apple Music overall this year was Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” a hook-laden diss track that completely captivated Drake. Meanwhile, Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” was Shazam’s most popular song.
In fact, I’ve listened to 55,265 minutes of Apple Music so far this year. No surprise at all, Chapel Lawn is my top artist and “Pink Pony Club” is the song I listen to the most. My other top 3 artists are Charlotte Cardin (she’s amazing and you should check her out) and Queens of the Stone Age. I have impeccable music taste, so I’m completely satisfied with these. I won’t say who’s in fourth place or the fact that her Eras tour ends this weekend.
