Apple Music has announced that it is expanding its live radio offering, adding three new stations to its lineup. These channels are hosted by real people and available to everyone, even those who don’t have a paid Apple Music subscription.
First up is Apple Música Uno, which celebrates “the rich stylistic diversity of Latin music from around the world.” The station plays a wide range of music genres, including musica mexicana, reggaeton, tropical, and Latin pop. Superstars like Becky G, Rau Alejandro and Grupo Frontera are joined by radio personalities Evelyn Sicaros and Lechero as hosts. It airs every day during weekdays, with special programs airing on weekends.

Apple Music Club hosts elevated events with a focus on dance and electronic music. The show will be guided by Tim Sweeney, host of WNYU’s Beats in Space, and DJ and artist NAINA, not Epic Games executives. Apple says each playlist is “carefully curated into a fully-lived set.” These playlists are curated by celebrities like Honey Dijon, Jamie xx, FKA Twigs, and more. Once broadcast, each broadcast will be available for re-watching through DJ mixes on the platform.

Finally, there’s Apple Music Chill, described as an “escape, a refuge” and a “sanctuary of sound.” It’s great to have in the background as you go about your day. This seems like a version of the famous lo-fi girl’s playlist. Apple says, “The show will be a continuous stream of cool highlights across genres.” It all starts with Beck’s new song, a cover of George Harrison’s classic “Be Here Now.” One of our hosts is Brian Eno. He is an absolute master of chill (among other things).
All these stations are currently available. Join existing channels like Apple Music 1, Apple Music Hits, and Apple Music Country.
