Rumors have circulated for some time that fan-favorite character Amadeus Cho will soon make his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The truth about the rumor may be revealed this week. In any case, this character is currently appearing in your friendly neighborhood anime series as a support character spoken to by Aleks Le. Incidentally, this year marks 20 years since the character first debuted in the story of writer Greg Pack and artist Takeshi Miyazawa in 2005’s Amazing Fantasy #15. At the celebration, Marvel announced a special one-shot commemorating the 20th anniversary of Amadeus Cho.

In One Shot, creator Greg Pack appears along with the story written by Miyazawa as art and artists Cleeze Lee and Jethro Morales. One-shot features a main cover by Derrick Chew and a variant cover by Rainil Francis You. In one shot, “a key moment in his past, the one shot sets the stage for Amadeus’ exciting next chapter” and not just exploring.

I’m looking forward to this:

Join Amadeus, Hercules and the Rebels on the eve of the Hulk of World War I! Returning to the time of the totally amazing Hulk as Amadeus and his sister Maddy Cho discover long-standing secrets that may break your heart. Finally, Amadeus is tackling a shocking new threat in his Brownian era, and will he emerge in a whole new way?

Regarding the character’s lifespan, Pack said:

“I’m a little surprised that Amadeus Cho is absolutely thrilled to be celebrating this big one-shot in 20 years or so,” Puck said. “When Miyazawa first sent out the designs for Amadeus and his puppy and scooter, we knew there was something special, but we couldn’t predict how the characters would take off. I think. I would like to thank everyone who has ever picked up a story with this ugly loser. A great love for all the artists, editors and writers who have contributed to his story, especially editing most of his stories. Tack for the co-creation of Mark Panicia, and edited most of his stories, and incredible Hercules co-writer Fred Van Rente, who joined me in the important stories of Amadeus. He told me a lot!”

The pack continues:

“Amadeus has been in wild adventures and physical form for the past 20 years. Working with Tak again and working with incredible artists Crees Lee and Jethro Morales. I’m excited to do that. Don’tcha misses it!”

Miyazaki added.

“It’s an honor and a thrill to be able to revisit Amadeus after all these years. I can’t believe how much the comic representatives have changed since Greg and I created the characters.
