Based on the strong marketing push from Warner Bros. Marketing, I think it’s safe to assume that the majority of people are well aware that a new Superman film has arrived this July. To say there is a huge amount of its success is an understatement. If early hype was any indication, filmmakers and DC Studios co-head James Gunn were a huge hit with his hands. For Whitt, sales surged very quickly when the film was first announced, as an influential all-star Superman miniseries from writer Grant Morrison and artist Frank Frank Quely. Therefore, it is not surprising that DC has released an All-Star Superman Audiobook Drama in collaboration with Penguin Random House Audio

Available next month, June 24th, 2025, this outstanding Superman story fits Meghan Fitzmartin’s audiobook listeners, covering 25 voices, a complete cast of original music scores and sound effects, as well as Quely’s cover art.

Fans may be familiar with the release of an animated adaptation in 2011

Description of the official press release below:

The All-Star Superman Story is widely considered to be one of the greatest in the history of iconic characters. The Man of Tomorrow is a permanent DC superhero, and its story has returned many forms from pages to audio, then screen, and then back again over the years. He adapted All-Star Superman as Harden in the audiobook and returned to Superman’s early years. Over 2,000 episodes of the radio show aired from 1940 to 1951.

In an audiobook that directly adapts the full 12-shot run of the original comic, Superman goes to his strange twins, the new character Givallo from the planet Bizaro to his toes. And Superman faces the final revenge of Lex Luther in the form of his own death! All-Star Superman is an epic rethink of Superman’s mythology, from the character’s origins to his biggest enemy.

The audiobook has the following voices:

Mark Thompson as Superman/Clark Kent & Givallo

Kristen Shee as Chris Lane

Christopher Smith as Lex Luther

Sean Kenin Elias-Reyes as Bizarro & Atlas

Brandon McInnis as Jimmy Olsen

Matthew Ament as Leo Quintum

Ray Porter as Joroel

Jessica Almasy as Nasthalthia Luthor

Pete Bradbury as Perry White

Scott Brick as Balell

Brennan Brown as Steve Lombard

Damron as the leader of the Superman team

Lauren Ezo as Lana Lang

Robert Fass as Pa Kent

James Whohay as Pete Ross

Todd Haberkorn as Klyzyzk Klzntplkz

Neil Helgers General Lane

Dominique Hoffman as Judge Morris

Aavid leehuỳnh as Cal Kent

Joshua Kane as Samson

January lavoy as Agatha

Saskia Marl level as Lilo

Salli Saffioti as Ma Kent

Catherine Tucker as Cat Grant

Oliver Wyman as a parasite

DC’s SVP and general manager Anne Depies hopes to reach a larger audience with the All-Star Superman Audiobook.

“DC continues to connect with more fans through innovative, accessible, high-quality adaptations of Cornerstone’s Superman story, and partners with Penguin Random House Audio to continue to expand its commitment to reaching a broader fanbase to adapt the classic DC comic book All-Star Superman. “All-Star Superman Audiobook offers an ideal entry point for newcomers to Superman legacy, while simultaneously offering a direct adaptation that captures the imagination of longtime fans, podcast enthusiasts and audiobook enthusiasts and faithfully brings their beloved stories.”

Lance Fitzgerald, SVP, Content and Business Developers, added:

“I’ve been a fan of All-Star Superman since my first publication 20 years ago. I’m excited to work with DC to adapt Morrison and Quely’s extraordinary vision in a fresh way that’s inherent in the audiobook.” “In her adapted audio script, Meghan Fitzmartin brings listeners into the minds of characters, including their inner thoughts. I hear him wrestling with his uniqueness, Lex Luther’s surprise, and Superman’s own reflection on his world and his own mortality.”

In the press release, the All-Star Superman audiobook is the first release collaboration between DC and Penguin Random House Audio, and fans are looking forward to the four additional DC comic book titles that will be released for the first time on audio.
