Alien books are by Zorro Productions, Inc. (ZPI) and agreement has been reached on both new and reprinted materials regarding the Swahsbuckler of Masks.
Among the reprints is a translated version of Juan Gimenez’s classic graphic novel (originally published in Spanish) and a remastered version of the beloved version by Alex Toth. Although Toth’s work is not widely known to the public, as he is respected among fellow cartoonists, these re-releases of Zorro should be treated.
According to PR, the alien book gives iconic swordsman a spotlight worthy of various crowdfunding, retail projects, direct market releases and bookstore titles. Alien recently signed a subdistribution agreement with IDW carried by LUNAR. This gives all these projects additional visibility.
Among the first to be released is the Kickstarter campaign for the deluxe hardcover version of Alex Toss’ “Zorro” series in 1958, along with the stories of Howard Chakin and Eduardo Risso, featuring the first premiere in English. Zomg, where do you sign up?
The project will launch on April 23rd, and interested supporters can sign up now and be notified when it is published.
