For readers looking for a fight, the last few pages are plenty. Hayden Sherman is very good at showing Wonder Woman and Claire’s speed and strength toe-toe. The juxtaposition of total anger and Wonder Woman’s milder calmness is very obvious as she hatchs the plan.
The people of Amazon and their bigger world of worlds should appreciate the nuances of the issues presented and the emotions conveyed in the issues. Wonder Woman really cares about her people and by the end of the matter you want her to find them more.
Shaman continues to dazzle with the layout of the page, creating clean symmetry, but catches the eye. In this issue, the characters’ eyes were particularly spectacular, making them even more realistic by the colours of Jordie Bellaire. Generally, characters bring touches closer on this issue, creating an overall dynamic feel, even when the characters are simply standing.
