Needless to say, DC’s Absolute Universe has been a clear success since it was launched over a year ago. To celebrate the launch of the first anniversary of the Absolute Universe this October, DC has announced two oversized absolute Universe one-shot specials and five pivotal new absolute Universe issues.
The first is Absolute Evil #1 written by Al Ewing, with Giuseppe Kamunkori and Stefanonesi with art and main covers. Variant covers are provided by Fabrizio de Tommaso, Gerald Parel, Dustin Nguyen, and Riley Rossmo, and also have a foil variant cover shown by Rossmo. On October 1st, this one-shot is about a villain in his second year, when the publisher teases big things.
