Abrams announced at San Diego Comic-Con that they would be entering the direct market with a one-off monthly comic book series, adding a unique new division to the company’s traditional book-market-only publishing approach, and now The Beat can reveal a range of covers for the debut issue of their first monthly series, “Human Nature,” which will hit stores in November.
Written by Darren Aronofsky, Ari Handel and Jeff Welch, with art by Martin Morazzo, colors by Chris O’Halloran and text by Aditya Bidikar, Human Nature is described as a “strange yet understandable social climate of the future” that follows the story of Duke, a fabulously wealthy Nebraska chicken tycoon, as he searches for the final piece of the puzzle: immortality.
