Post Malone is taking him to the Big Apple. The beloved music sensation attends a scam courtesy of Ballcocomics, an indie comic publisher responsible for bringing the big rigs of the Post to the market.
Vault is hosting the “Post Malone Big Rig” panel at the Jacob K. Habitz Center on Friday, October 10th from 5pm to 6pm as part of the New York Comics Confettiability. A press release from the Vault itself teases only the “special guests” of the panel, but the Popverse (owned by NYCC promoter Reedpop) has confirmed that the post-Malone Post is in fact one of those special guests.
The panel will be held at room 405 at Javits Center. As part of the event, Vault will be selling a special variant cover of a single issue comic featuring artwork from Peach Momoko and Pete Carroll.
The comic is written by Post Malone and Adrian Wassel and features artwork by wild co-creator Naissangudden. A summary of the story can be found below.
Dark Ages… Horde of demons plague Europe as hell invades Earth. The six petals, the secret denomination of the Templars, desperately need the means to drive the tragedy and direct the flow of onslaught. It is the rig, a fully loaded tractor trailer that will hit the Earth. In the aftermath of the arrival, the only man to leave is a mysterious former priest who has been excommunicated from the six petals. He becomes a truck driver and leads the battle against hell behind the wheels of a machine that adorns the devil.
Vault says the adaptation of the comic feature film is already under development with Post Malone, Platinum Dunes and Vault making the film. This year, New York Comic Con will continue from Thursday, October 9th to Sunday, October 12th.
